*walks out of his room, just wearing jeans and no shirt, feeling like he forgot something*

…Something important should be happening. *thinks* I really hope it’s not a meeting… especially since it’s a Saturday… *sigh*

*is in the kitchen, quickly putting…

*blinks, slumping a little* Um… don’t you know what today is? It’s really special! REALLY special!

Special? *raises an eyebrow, completely lost* Um… I thought I forgot something today. I-It’s not even close to our anniversary…. Um… *puts a hand behind his head* Uh… I… I really don’t know. You can go ahead and punch me now.

Jevonte… Okay, first off, if you forgot our anniversary, I might would have hit you. *shifts his weight onto his right foot* But, you don’t remember? Of all things? Love, it’s your birthday.

*blinks* … uh… Wow. You’re right. I knew I forgot something important. *grins a bit* Thank you for remembering… *kisses Alfred’s forehead*

*gushes and hugs him* Why wouldn’t I?! I have it set for every year on my iPhone and computer and planner! *nuzzles* And guess what? I made pancakes!

*hugs him back* …pancakes? I finally get to try the ones that you make. They’d better be good. *he sounds really relaxed but he’s actually super excited to try the pancakes*

*immediately goes to the stove, picking up a plate full of still-warm fluffy pancakes* They better, my ass~ I made blueberry, strawberry, chocolate chip,  and cinnamon!

I can’t decide… I want to try them all. *pets him on the head* Alfred… This is so kind of you… You didn’t have to do anything for me.

Dooon’t start that. Of course I did. First off, you treated me so awesomely for my birthday, so it’s only fair I at least try to return the favor, hm? *kisses his cheek before going to the table, which he’s set up* C’mon and eat, hun. *starts to load Jevonte’s plate with pancakes*
